The pistol courses are made to be as adaptable as possible to the different ways of using/carrying your own firearm. The differences between open/duty carry and concealed carry will be addressed in the courses.

No, the tactical pistol and rifle courses are not designed to comply with IPSC or IDPA competition rules.
However, the Pistol Fundamentals course does address IPSC/IDPA principles, allowing you to apply the skills learned in a competitive setting.

Our training primarily uses double-stack Glock pistols chambered in 9×19 with iron sights, chosen for their reliability and widespread availability.
Students typically start with an OWB (outside-the-waistband) holsters featuring active retention. Later, training can be adapted to IWB (inside-the-waistband) holsters, including appendix and 3 o’clock carry positions.
Rifle courses are conducted with Arsenal AK rifles in 7.62×39 chosen for their two sided safety and “stock” AR-15 platforms in 5.56. We try keep rifle setups as simple and practical as possible, only by using with red dots sight and a two-point sling.
Depending on the course, additional equipment such as a plate carrier, chest rig, or duty belt with magazine holders may be required.
Hearing protection and safety glasses are mandatory at all times.
